Meet the Author

Toni Rudisill is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor, Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional based in Virginia. With a passion for helping others become their best selves, Toni brings over 22 years of experience in human services, blending evidence-based therapies, Christian principles, and personal insight into her practice.

Academic Achievements

Toni holds a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Norfolk State University and an Education Specialist degree in Mental Health Counseling from Hampton University. Her career began with a focus on mentoring, counseling, and developing adolescents and young adults through various internships. Today in addition to providing counseling to adolescents, she applies her expertise to work with veterans facing serious mental illnesses, making a significant impact on the lives of those who have served our country.

Two Decades with the U.S. Navy

Having served 20 years in the U.S. Navy, Toni has made Virginia her home, where she continues to give back to her community. She has dedicated years of volunteer service to organizations such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters and CASA, coaches recreational softball, and actively participates in church youth groups.

Toni specializes in counseling for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and communication and social skills deficits. She is committed to continuous learning and professional development, maintaining active memberships in several esteemed associations, including the American Counseling Association (ACA), Northern Virginia Licensed Professional Counselors (NVLPC), Association for Child and Adolescent Counseling (ACAC), National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and Chi Sigma Iota (CSI).
